What is Doc?

Doc? is a free desktop Application, made entirely in FLEX & AIR. Doc? allows you to view your Flash documentation outside of Flash. This enables you to view, search and bookmark your documentation a lot faster than you could with the built in Flash support.

    Bug fixes
    • Some files were missing when parsing with ASDoc. If some pages appear te be missing, please remove, rebuild & add the ASDocs again
    New Features
    • Added support for Flash and Eclipse plugin
            (see http://www.airdoc.be/plugin)
    • Doc now remembers the state it was in (Maximized / Normal)
    • When no results are found during show, the original tree is kept
    • Tree nodes can now be opened by doubleclicking

    Doc? is excellent. Suggestion: since the app needs to be opened when the Search plugin is used, it'd be nice if Doc? minimized to the System Tray (on Windows) like AIR app TweetDeck does. It makes keeping the app open all the time less obtrusive. Keep up the great work.

    @Skye the eclipse plugin will start Doc? when it's not open. Not sure about the Flash plugin though...

    The flash plugin won't start Doc? automatically. This is because jsfl can't call external programs directly.

    The undocumented method :
    FLfile.runCommandLine()
    works, but that will open a command window and closing it only after the application is closed.

    Very annoying, so that was also not an option.
    Minimizing to the tray is a good alternative.

    Just wanted to leave a note that the Docs for the Flex Builder Plugin don't seem to be recognized. Importing them as standard ASDoc works though. Great Work all in all! Love the App!

    Hi, when unpacking the help zip from the Flex Builder there is no tocAPI.xml or asdoc.js! How do I fix that?
